Black and White Abstract
Tuesday, December 19, 2006 . My guitar is unusable and i hate it.

This a ranting post. i dont give a shit whether u get offended or not. im complaining about just about everything. so dont fucking sue me.

First lets talk about the mainstream world. Society follows a set pattern; the majority of ppl act or follow a trend just becos the whole bloody world does it. Look at hello-kitty (which sucks) and bubble tea( i like this one though). They are popular because they are trendy. which teen doesnt want to follow a trend and go unnerdy? But the problem is, if the whole world goes on like that, think for ourselves, cant we create trends or stop following them? Be unique man, unique. I see tons of ppl having Nokia N70s, some N80s, some the 6680. Majority phones. ppl cant just stop copying each other.

Now to mainstream music. To teenage girls, the only kind of music that appeals to the is mainstream pop. And they go after boybands or chinese singers just because they got the faces to melt their hearts. And almost of them cant even write their own songs. crap. can sing, can dance, got the look, but cant even write a simple song.
And think about the rock bands they listen to: Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan. The very first in the list likes to make songs about sex and stuff, but the music is gd. My Chemical Romance is decent stuff, but not true punk, or really good punk for that matter. Simple Plan. Probably the teenager's pick, thanks to song with lyrics so perfectly easy for us to relate to, as if SP were rebellious, troubled teens themselves. And that is what makes pop music so appilcable to us teens. Even if there are better music out there, they rather listen to soft, lyrically all about love romance all those stuff than listen to some REAL music. After all, all those addicted to the mainstream would want to listen to dark progessive rock like Tool, Pink Fylod. And Green Day tops the mainstream rock bands, alongside Red Hot Chilli Peppers. These are the bands worth listening to for pop people. U2, Three Days Grace, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Tool, Incubus, some of the bands these pop ppl may have nvr heard but their music is defintely amazing. Better than some Simple Plan anytime.

And the guys are the worst part. I was part of Soka Kindagarten's alumni, so i went to help out over a period of 2 days. And wtf, they danced to music with hip hop that is kinda shit, some song that was nice but i wouldnt get addicted to, and a decent song. Three songs. Is pop music really that desirable? We real rockers know which bands to listen to, not some easy shit. And yes,  rap is going downhill. Some guy rapping about nightclub, sex, thats old school, man i would prefer some hardcore 50 cent, some real fucked up good  Eminem or as always, Kanye West.

What else can i rant about?? Nth. is just ppl's musical tastes nowadys, guys inculded, their taste is like, shit. even the radio's are getting stale.

How about some real rock?
