IM BACK FROM SEC 3 CAMP!!!!

Ok. So it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. Pretty fun, in a way.

3/4 bonded a lot over the camp, rock on 3/4.

Ok here goes:

First day:
reported to school at abt 645. My dad sent me there. Got my class id and "personalised" it to my liking. I came to school with like, wat, the BIGGEST bag among the whole class? The guys were giving me that stare, the kind of stare of give weirdos. Joel damn happy when he saw it; his bag nt the biggest anymore...lool..
My bag is damn heavy...rather carry 10kg rice than that bag...but at least proves im strong hehe xD
aBT 7am go to hall, then we got a briefing frm the teachers, mrs gopala, mr tan yk, mr soh and maybe some other teachers, i cant rmb.
After all that admin and talking stuff, passports lah all dat, we set off. However we couldnt leave as a full class. Abt 10 of us had to go on another bus. Aww.
The bus ride there was really long. Although they said it was abt 2hrs, i dont believe it. It felt more like 3 hrs. Did a lotta cheers on the bus. Damn noisy ar the bus ride. The class kept on cheering, mainly the girls. I wanted to sleep and listen mp3...damn.
We reached there like abt 12 plus, then met our AIs, which were essentially a grp of sec 4s (my original cohort) given overwhelming authority. 3/4 got Dylan, nice guy, he likes us i guess. 3/8 kena Chin rong, aiayh they first kena pumped lik hell.
I think the teachers were lazy, so they gave all the scolding and essentially the whole show to the ais. Crap sial.
Ok.
When we reached, sat down on the hot and rough ground. Its made up of rocky sand, which sucks. After some briefing, we went to pitch our tents. Im totally clueless as to how to do it. Thks to my tent mates for helping...
After that go eat lunch. Organic rice and food! Haha. Rice was tasteless, just tasteless, but nt so bad. Guoxin eat alot sial...

After that, the real stuff began. Activities. We did a lengthy and tiring nature walk wif a fun instructor. He teach us a lot about the natural habitat and how to eat jungle grass. WOW. after that, got a powder bath and went off to eat dinner. Then got the class id and flag presentation. Joel was cool on that one. Near perfect speech; other classes got influenced by us.

after that, supper, debrief, sleep.

Guoxin tell really funny and obscene story, i laugh damn crazy. and loud too. We were in the very hot and uncomfortable tent for abt 20 plus minutes trying to sleep and laughing like siao when they turned us out. Some joker went to say turn out was for fun; make us kena pumping on the rock sandy ground. PaIN sial. Fuck the bastard and the AI. One small comment then pump. Turn out sucked, although it was important. And barely five minutes after the first turn out, we were awoken with yet another turn out. Shit sial.

Finally after the second turn out we got to sleep. I stayed awake for 2 hours due to the heavy discomfort i had and the extreme heat. I switched positions and finally managed to sleep. I only had 3 hours of sleep.

Second day:
Woke up at 530. It was cold outside, Very cold. Nevermind that. Everyone in the tent was groggy. Soon, we managed to pull oursleves up and get out. Brush teeth, assemble for PT. Then do PT, some punching stuff, then no more. done.

Report outside MPH for breakfast, which was a choice of rice and beehoon. I took beehoon and the sambal they provided. WAH SPICY but exciting to eat.

We next went to climb some mountain that was pretty hard to climb. Up was tiring and difficult, even with the aid of ropes. Down was very dangerous BUT fun. We had to partner one guy with girl. Mine was Krystal, but she wasnt interested in holding anybody's hand, I swopped partners later and it became Whiteney (sp?). She was ok. I survived that LONG climb up and down.

View at the summit was TOTALLY AWESOME.

I was very urgent for a toilet (big and small), but there was a long queue outside toilet. I and guoxin go, came back late, i got personally scolded my ms koh. Details on the class blog.

Later after lunch, we had bamboo rafting. That one was fun. Got to know Hasanah a lot more because we were on the same four man raft (five of us were on board). Gene too, although not alot.

At night, we had the worst, most broing, tiring, and useless activity throughout 4 days 3 nights (the only activity worse is sitting outside MPH doing nth but sitting like ducks till legs are tired and pumping). The fucking night walk. I hated that to the core. We waited like, one whole fucking hour to leave? Delays here and there, Man the AIs and teachers did a very bad job. Sitting corssed legs isnt fun. It sucks and cramps up your legs a lot. SUCKS. And no torches allowed on the night walk. And you must hold on to the shoulder of the person in front of you and walk in a orderly single file. The girl behind me(forgot her name) was shorter than. So was Felica, who was in front. One hold my shoulders, the other i must hold, damn straining on my back. And its not like you cant see. Its very much possible to walk through the entire walk unguided. Dumb. And there was nth interesting to hear or see, and some stupid humans kept imitating animals, albeit very badly. They should shut the hell up. And AIs still give commands along the way. Give for wat? They should at least shut up during the stupid walk.

Went back camp. Relief. Supper. Debrief. Done. Sleep.
No jokes that night, no turn out, just comfortable sleep. Best night in the tent, cause i slept really well.

Third day:
Woke up at 545, brush teeth, PT, breakfast..
The first activity was drum raft making. I was, again, totally useless in making the raft work. In the end our raft died, like everyone else's. LOL. At least i got to know my classmates better through the activity. It was funny though.

Lunch. Then after that got Asli water obstacle course. Damn fun i must say. Easy too. Our class morale and spirit went from a low to great heights during the activity. Thats why i love it so much. Best activity throughout the camp.

After that got interclass telematches. I was playing captains ball, another half of the class played water polo. I played as a sub for less than a minutes when the game ended. Awlau, never even touch the ball sial. We kena thrash 3-0 i think by 3/8. They rough like siao. everybody defend the captain. Siao. But at least 3/3 help us revenge. They thrash 3/8 9-0.

At night campfire. 8 mats, one for each class. How does 44 students sit together on one mat? stupid. Cannot complain somemore. I ended up standing mostly for the whole thing. Much more comfortable, more freedom and better view.

I love our performance. i bet everyone else did too. :)

At night, sleep. After debrief and supper. It was the last day. Very cold night, Was shivering for almost 40 minutes n the tent before managing to sleep. Toilet pangs too.

And onto the fourth day:
THE FINAL DAY!
Packed my bags.
Cleaned up my tent.
Reported for PT, did some joker martial arts and then breakfast. Beehoon again! Yay. i liked it. Since it was the "last" meal, i took extra chilli. Wa nice man. But no time for second helping.

Unpitch tent, did cheers, learn a new dynamite cheer, then got our bags and off to singapore.

Loved the bus ride; slept for 2 hours before staying awake for the other 1 hour plus.

Past malaysia customs, then past singapore custis, then back to school. Assembled at indoor sports hall, glad to be home.

A short debrief, cheers, then dismissed.

I kinda miss all the cheers.
